A respected professor and consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cairo university with more than 35 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology Professor Khattab has been a creator throughout his life and has achieved many of his goals. Professor Khattab was the founder of the IVF unit at Mahmoud Hospital in 1998, and was also the founder of the Urodynamics and Urogynecology unit in the Gynecology department at Kasr El Einy hospital in 2006 and in 2010 he founded the Kasr El Einy Assisted Reproduction and IVF unit. Professor Khattab founded Bedaya Hospital (formerly the Misr International IVF center) in 2003 and since then has been the Technical Director, motivator, innovator and god father of the hospital.
Professor Khattab received his Bachelor of Surgery and Internal Medicine from Cairo University in 1974. He then went on to complete his Master’s degree in 1980 and M.D. in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 1984.
